It's always a good idea to do the Disk Cleanup (included with Vista... it's been so long, I don't remember if XP has something similar) on your hard drives. I noticed that my C:\ drive was down to about 3-4GB free out of 160GB and couldn't figure out why it had suddenly gotten so low. I just remembered about the Disk Cleanup, and ended up recovering 9.81GB of space :eek2: I'm slightly happier now. I still need another hard drive though :kekeke:

I also went through and deleted any old System Restore points and gained another 11 or so Gigs. I just went from 3 to 23GB free :lol:

last time i used disc clean up in vista it cleaned everything up lol and left me with nothing, no progs no anything much.

but it did what it said :p

ive always set system restore to 1gb (or whatever the lowest setting will give me (800-1900mb)

use ccleaner on windows machines every week to month (depending on the user)
