Cool How to identify what DVD writer burned a disk

Gents,

I forget how to identify what DVD writer burned a disk.

Background - I burned some disks for a Buddy over the last year or so and now he says some of them have Read Errors. I suspected my BenQ Burner was starting to fail before he advised me of this problem, so now I just want to make certain it's the BenQ and not my newer Samsung.

Any Ideas on what software can ID this? (I vaguely remember a program I has that did this but I forget... )

Thanks for the assist

dvd identifier?

http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/

cant remember if it reads only the media bock (the unwritable part of the pre-track) or the entire pre-track which should include the lead-in (the burn information)
