Default N900

just got my N900 today, taken a little while to charge fully and get the maemo updates (we get not so fast 3g where i sit in mi hoose)

at first it was as weird as having any new phone.

looking forward to getting stuck into the open source debian apps and a possible dual boot of andriod.

i loved my N95 so much as the camera and music player was tops.
this n900 has the same but with far better web capabilitys and a linux OS which promises multitasking upto 21 apps at a time

the n900 has the same great camera with a lens cover this time, 32gb storage, xvid and ac3 support among other codecs and some very nice video playback.

from what ive seen has some great other linux usable apps, cpu/ram monitor, vnc/remote desk, ftp the list goes on

got a lot of free time at work this week to break it

well was a great phone but is seriously under developed, i sent it back due to being unable to connect to msn messenger on t-mobile. it had a lot of cool features though such as an fm transmitter and the OS was great although is not yet supported by nokia own ovi store suite!
this could be an amazing phone when more work is done.

dont get this phone from carphone warehouse or any other phone for that matter as these guys are cowboys, it was a pain to send back ive lost my number which ive had for years and i will be charged a small fee for my call usuage which i think is disgraceful given the inconvenience i have been put thru.

while i was taking this phone back another was being sent out of the front door to a unsuspecting customer. also i had to cancel my insurance in store and i had to hold the wire on the landline phone in a certain way to be able to speak lol

i always thought there was summink dodgy about carphone warehouse.
