Not much has changed in my house.

Living Room (HTPC):
Asus M2NPV-VM w/ Athlon 64 3500+
2GB of RAM
80GB HDD, 160GB HDD, 500GB HDD (all SATA)
AMD Radeon HD 5450 512MB
All hooked up to a 46" Philips 1080p LCD mounted on the wall.
Running Windows 7 w/ XBMC as my application of choice for all my media. I'd use Linux if I could, but I can't find a good driver that will give me audio w/ HDMI, so until I switch video cards I'm stuck with Windows.
Most of the time I just use the TV speakers, but I also have an older Denon amp with some lower end, but still good quality speakers (front, center and subwoofer. I haven't gotten around to running wires for the rears, and I need to get some smaller rears)

Kitchen:
IBM ThinkCentre something'er other.
Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
1.5GB of RAM
120GB HDD
Onboard video (my older Radeon AGP card finally bit the dust)

Phone:
Samsung Galaxy Ace - nothing fancy, but it gets the job done, and for the price (free), it was worth it lol.

Nothing crazy in the future for me anytime soon, but I was hoping to pick up an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ for the HTPC today to give it a bit of a boost, but the guy I was buying it from hasn't emailed me back yet. I'm also supposed to be getting an AM2 motherboard and 5.5GB of RAM from him, all for $30.... if he ever emails me back.

I finally got a upgrade PC. A work mate gave me his old PC that did not run anymore. He said he did not want to give it to anyone else because he new he could trust me with the private data that could be on the Hard drive. He tole me it was infected with viruses and did not work anymore.
all I seen was a PC box that looked newer than anything I had.

It's a DELL Dimension 8250.

When I got this gem home, I hooked it up and plugged it in.
Hit the power button and it started up, got half way threw the boot screen and locked up.

Turned off and back on. this time it got to the windows starting screen and locked up.

powered off and back on. this time nothing.

Opened the system up and checked out the hardware.
List of Bad hard ware :
1) power supply is bad.
2) video card is bad.
3) system battery is dead.
4) DVD+RW is bad.
5) Power button on front case is broken.

List of good components :
1) Processor is good.
2) Ram is good.
3) DVD reader is good.
4) Mother board is good.

After replacing all Bad parts with spare parts I had, and fixing the power button with a Needle, lighter and some Hot Glue, I now have a working PC.

Installed the newest SUSE LINUX 12.2 version.

Here is my new specks.
