went to see the arctic monkeys at the newcastle arena a couple of months ago.
twas really good apart from the sinking feeling about 1030pm when you know theres only 20 mins left,
i could of easy stayed and listened to them until the early hours.

wont be until may bank holiday, when the evolution fest is on that we get to go to another gig.

Black Eyed Peas, Weezer and Classified (a local hip-hop artist/rapper) were just announced to be playing here July 24th, as part of a 2-day "RockFest". They haven't announced any bands for day 1 (July 23rd) yet. So far I only care about Weezer, but there's no way I'm paying $99 to see just them. Time to try winning some tickets lol.

My latest concert was The Eagles last night @ GM Place. In my opinion is it ranked right up there as one of the best shows I've seen in years. I had already been listening to their latest CD (Getting out of Eden for some months now) and knew they'd be showing it off. Like most new music it does take a few reptitions to thoroughly get into it (at least for me....)

Anyway, the reviewer below obviously wasn't into it as much as I, but he gave it a B+ whereas I'd go for an A-. But we're splitting hairs here

The Eagles have 3 shows in Vancouver this week; tonight again at GM place before having to move due to a Canucks Playoff Game; and again at the Pacific Coliseum on Friday - after a one nighter in Seattle Thursday. If they come near you, go and see them!
